Hebrews  9:27

_"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:  9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation."_

*As it is appointed unto Men*

Man has only one life to live in this world. Once the life time in the world is expired, that means every activities of the person on earth is over. It is appointed unto men to die once and after that comes judgement. Every dead individual is waiting for judgement, which will determine where he/she will spend eternity.

In the same perspective, Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. His death on the cross is sufficient for the redemption of every soul, that believes in the finished work of the cross. The atonement for sins was accomplished once and for all.

The second coming of Christ is not to deal with sin again, for He has triumphed and believers has victory over sin by faith. He is coming back to judge the world in righteousness. And, how shall those who ignored this so great salvation escape? He shall appear unto them that wait for Him without sin unto salvation. There are issues you will have to resolve in your heart, before you appear at the judgement seat of Christ. Are you saved? Are you washed in the blood of the lamb? Are your garment spotless, are they white as snow?

There was a man in the scripture who found his way into the wedding hall as a guest, but he didn't put on a wedding garment. He was speechless when he was asked, ...friend, how camest thou in hitter not having a wedding garment? The time of grace was absolutely over then and he couldn't be tolerated to be among the guests. The king ordered that he should be bound and cast into outer darkness: 'there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.' (Matt. 22:9-13). Now, is the acceptable time for repentance to amend our ways, tomorrow might just be too late.
