📖 📖 📖 Text (2 Kings 20:1-3)
`In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live. Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying, I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.'
🔮 TOPIC: *Pleading Your Cause*
Hezekiah was an exceptional king during his days and time. He had a close walk with God. It came to a point in time that he became sick unto death and the prophet Isaiah gave a word of prophecy from the LORD, informing the king to set his house in order and be ready for death. The prophet told him it is certain he would die and not live. But, Hezekiah would not accept that report.
He responded to the situation by turning his face to the wall and plead his cause before the Lord his God. He brought his strong reason. He knew that the Lord is gracious and merciful and expected that his voice will be heard. He pleaded that the Lord will remember how he has walked before Him in truth and with a perfect heart.
In the day of trouble, what will you also present before the Lord, as a strong reason in the court room of heaven to plead your cause. What will you be remembered for? Do you show kindness and mercy to others? Do you walk uprightly before the Lord in truth and with a perfect heart. Hope your heart is not condemning you in the place of prayer. Whatever is your situation at the moment, your prayers can turn the table around. The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much. Don't give up and never accept negative fate. God is able!

Thank you Lord, because you are my God. I plead my cause in truth and righteousness. Oh Lord, hear the voice of my supplication and change every evil verdict against my life and family in Jesus name. Amen!
