๐Ÿ“– ๐Ÿ“– ๐Ÿ“– Text (John  8:9-11)

`And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.`

๐Ÿ”ฎ TOPIC: *Freedom from Accusation and Condemnation*

Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour came to save the world. He has not come to condemn people, but to rescue those who are perishing. God has no pleasure in the death of a sinner. Some so called Christians are so heartless without any compassion and mercy. They have evil thoughts towards their neighbors and wish that their enemies die. The people that you thought, they are your enemies are not the real enemy. Jesus said, we should love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us.

God is not willing that anyone should perish. There must be a shift in our mindset, as Christians seeing the way God sees. We must be compassionate enough to save souls and win the lost to Christ. The law enforced judgement, but when grace appeared it provided the opportunity for repentance. 'For all have sin and come short of the glory of God.' The accusers of the woman were convicted in their conscience of sin, they thought that which the woman had done was more terrible and she deserves to be stone to death, but little did they know that they weren't in any way better, because they were also guilty of sin.

The woman didn't try to justify herself, but she obtained mercy. Everyone who have accused her fled and she was left alone in the midst with Jesus. Jesus also said 'Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.' Freedom from accusations and condemnation is not a license to continue in sin, but it provides a second chance for you to amend your ways and not die in your sins. Don't take the grace of God for granted. The appearance of grace doesn't abolish the law and judgement. The judgement is reserved for those who fails to maximize the opportunity of grace to repent. You can be free today from every accusations and condemnation, because Jesus has died on the cross of Calvary to set you free.

๐Ÿ‘๐ŸพPrayer of Faith

I'm grateful Lord for the sacrifice that you paid for my sins to set me free from every accusations and condemnation. Lord, I pray that your mercy will prevail over every judgement that are passed over my life, in Jesus name. Amen!
