📖 📖 📖 Text (1 Thessalonians  5:17-18)

 _'Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.'_ 

🔮 TOPIC: *Give Thanks*

Prayer should be a lifestyle of a Christian. You can't successfully live a Christian life without a prayer life. Pray without ceasing is a command. You don't have a choice than to pray. Prayer is an effective way to communicate with God. It's the channel of spiritual connectivity with God. Prayer should be built in the subconscious mind of the believers. It's your weapon in spiritual warfare. 

The manner and approach to open the heavenly portal is giving of thanks. It's an order in the court of heaven. You cannot enter into the court of heaven without Thanksgiving. The psalmist said, 'Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.' (Psalms  100:4). Give thanks in every situation. Thanksgiving, should not be only when you feel happy or when God do something surprising for you. 

You give thanks, because God deserve it all the time in every circumstances. This is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. The understanding of the personality of the Almighty God is enough reason to give thanks. Who God is, is far greater than what He does. What He does is a reflection of who He is. Give thanks to God with understanding. In everything that happens, God always give room for thanks. God is good and does good all the time. The earth is filled with His goodness.

Father, I give thanks for all you have done. You have done all things well. Receive my thanks and praise in Jesus name. Amen!
