📖 📖 📖 Text (1 Thessalonians  3:1-3)

 _'Wherefore when we could no longer forbear, we thought it good to be left at Athens alone; And sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of God, and our fellowlabourer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith: That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.`_ 

 

🔮 TOPIC: *Let no man be Moved*

The apostle Paul and his team laboured vigorously to establish their converts. They were in constant check to everywhere they had preached. Paul would send disciples to the place where himself couldn't go, due to some circumstances. Though, most times he wished to always visit the people himself, but whenever he discovered he would not be able to go physically, he would send representatives with his depth epistles that would make the audience feel the affection, love and passion he had for them, even though he is absence. 

The goal was to establish the believers in their faith, because they understood that their faith would be tested through diverse trials and challenges, but the word of encouragement will make them hold steadfastly to the faith throughout the trying times. In this particular above epistle, Timothy was sent to the church in Thessalonian to establish and comfort them concerning their faith. This is necessary, less they drift away so quickly from their faith, because of the affliction that may arise for the sake of the word of God that they have received. 

Christians should not be moved by the affliction around their lives. Our perspective about the challenges of life, should be different with the understanding that it is part of the experiences, which have been designed for the pilgrims on the journey to heaven. The journey may be rough and tough, but our consolation is in the hope that is in Christ Jesus. Our confidence is in the truth that, the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour has overcome the world. Therefore, let us not be moved by the difficulties of life, which we may stare us at the face. Don't let it look strange to you, because you are not the only one going through the same. It's common to all and right in the midst of the challenges God will make a way of escape. 

👏🏾Prayer of Faith 

I'm grateful Father, for the strength and courage to face the challenges of life. Lord Jesus, my hope is in you, let me not be moved by these afflictions that may come my way in Jesus name. Amen!
