📖 📖 📖 TEXT (Psalms  29:10-11)

 _'The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever. The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.`_ 

🔮 TOPIC:*The Lord is in Control*

There was a time the disciples were in the ship together with Jesus and there arose a great tempest in the sea, so much that the ship was covered with the waves but He was asleep. 'And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish. And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. (Matthew  8:25-26). 

The LORD sitteth over the flood, yea the LORD sitteth King forever. He rules over every circumstances. The Lord was quite aware about the great tempest that arose in the ship, but he was not moved. The disciples were afraid and went to wake him up. The Lord questioned, why are you fearful, O ye of little faith? Lord, help my faith! He expected them to know that, He was in control in as much He was with them. Immediately, the Lord arose and rebuked the winds and the sea and there was a great calm. Indeed, He was in control and the people marveled that even the winds and the sea obeyed him. 

The Lord is in control of that situation, that you are passing through. He has promised that He will not leave nor forsake you. He will give strength to His people, the LORD will bless His people with peace. Don't let your heart be troubled, believe in the Lord. Acknowledge His presence and call upon Him, because He's not far away. Cry unto Him, when you need to do that and you will see Him come through for you. 

👏PRAYER OF FAITH

I give thanks to you Lord, because you rule and reign in the affairs of all men. Hear my voice oh Lord and deliver me from every affliction. I receive strength and peace of mind, in Jesus name. Amen! 🙏
