๐Ÿ“– ๐Ÿ“– ๐Ÿ“– TEXT (Exodus  3:1-4)

_'Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb. And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I._

๐Ÿ”ฎ TOPIC:*The Burning Bush*

Moses ran away from Egypt, because Pharaoh wanted to slay him, when he heard that he killed an Egyptian who was fighting an Hebrew man. He did that to defend his brethren, because he has observed how they were been maltreated in the land of Egypt, as a slave. Though, He was raised by Pharaoh's daughter and had opportunity to become the next Pharoah, because he has been adopted into the royal family. But, he rather chose to identify with His own people and brethren and ready to suffer with them. And really, God has a plan to make him a deliverer for His people from Egypt.

He came to Midian and was contented to stay with a priest who was pleased to take him also under his roof and gave Zipporah his daughter to him, as wife. Moses humbly kept the flock of his father in law and one day he led the flock to the back side of the desert and came to Horeb the mountain of God, where he saw the burning bush. The burning bush was the place of encounter for him. It was a great sight to behold, because he saw the bush burning with fire and the bush was not consumed. It was a point of attraction to get his attention. The moment he turned aside and drew near to the scene, God began to speak to him and revealed Himself as the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Sometimes, when God needs our attention He draws us away from distractions. He does not speak in the midst of noise, because He likes to get our attention. He always want to get our attention first, before He will begin to share the burden of His heart to anyone that He intends to use. If, he cannot get your attention, you can't know His intentions. God reveals Himself and His purposes to people for a purpose. He will not struggle with you, until you are willing to stay in His presence to know His mind for your generation. There are things and activities that God uses to draw your attention unto Himself.
