_'The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.'_ (2 Peter 3:9)

๐Ÿ”ฎ *God is Patient with You*

Sometimes we consider the coming of the Lord as slow. It seems that many preachers today are not even talking more about Christ second coming. The scripture is telling us here that, the Lord is not slow concerning His promise, He is only patient with us to correct our ways and not be found wanting, when He returns.

God's patience is so great and amazing. There are people whom the Lord has given much time to repent from their wicked ways and they were lucky, because they had the opportunity to change their ways before they die. Some people didn't encounter the Lord until old age. Though, many years have been wasted, but God's patience made it possible for them to be reconciled back to Him, before they pass away.

God's patience should not be taken for granted. Some have abused this grace to their own peril. They keep procrastinating their salvation and when they ought to have given the Lord the chance to change their lives, they keep denying Him access into their lives and kept walking in their wayward lifestyle until death catch up with them and couldn't trace their way back to the cross. The Lord is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance. He is still waiting for you to repent and forsake every bad habits. He loves you and has paid the price for your sins. Make peace with the Lord today and He will accept you, as His dearly beloved.

๐Ÿ‘PRAYER

I praise you my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I repent from my sins and forsake every wicked ways. Forgive all my sins and renew my heart in righteousness. Let my life draw others to you also, in Jesus name. Amen! ๐Ÿ™
