'My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?' (John 14:2)

๐Ÿ”ฎ *My Father's House*

The Lord was speaking here to the disciples to understand that, there's a better place beyond this planet, where He was going to prepare a place for them. This understanding should cause a shift in the attention of the discpes from this present world to that glorious place. The Lord made it known that, there were many mansions or rooms in His Father's house. It's a big and great house, undescribable. It can accommodate uncountable number of people.

The Father's house is a place of rest, comfort, beauty and glory. If, one can catch the glimpse of the glory of that realm, the ephemeral things of the world will no longer look attractive. There are no mansion in this present world, that can be compared with the beauty and glory of the father's house. It's not a house built with human hands. The faithful servants of the Lord Jesus will be transisted to this new place, after their sojourn here on earth. It's a place, where our hearts should long to be, even while we are still here on earth.

The disciples are guaranteed a sure place of rest in the Father's house after their toilings on this side of eternity. There are things to endure for them to enter into this realm of glory. We have not a continuing city here. This world is fading away fast. Don't be deceived and distracted by the things that is glittering today. They fades out, when time pass over them. There's a glory above which fades not away, neither do moth corrupt kept in heaven for the Saints.
