_'Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.'_ (Psalms 23:6)
🔮 *Assurance of His Goodness and Love*
The psalmist have an assurance that, the goodness and mercies of the Lord would follow him all the days of his life, because he has acknowledged the Lord as his shepherd at the beginning of the chapter (ps. 23). The Lord is a good shepherd, who cares for His sheep always. He makes them to lie down in green pastures and restores their souls. The sheep under his cares, enjoys His goodness and love. They are comforted in trouble and directed in the way to go.
The psalmist said in another place that 'Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.' (Psalms 100:3). If, we did not make ourselves, then we can trust that the one who made us will take care of His own people. We can hope for His goodness and love all the days of our lives, knowing that He cares. Even, if other things things fail, there should be an assurance in our heart that His love cannot fail.
The reality of the challenges that we face in the world, should not make us doubt His love. God desire to show you His goodness and love, irrespective of your situation right now. Let your faith be strong in the Lord and expect to see and enjoy His goodness in the land of the living. His goodness is revealed to those who patiently wait for Him. The goodness of God extends throughout lifetime till eternity. Once you are keeping His covenant, His goodness will never cease upon your life.

Thank you Lord for your goodness and love towards me. I wait upon thy goodness and love, as the scripture assures me. Pour out your goodness and love upon me daily, in Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen! 🙏
