🔮 *Acknowledging God's creation with Thanksgiving*
The beauty and the glory of the Lord is revealed in all that He created. There was a closing remark each day of creation in the beginning that everything was good. God is the source of every good thing. Everything that God made was perfect. It was after the fall of man, that some animals and things was regarded as unclean. This became established when the law was given to the children of Israel and were told not to eat certain things. Violating the law makes it a sin for them to touch or eat something regarded as unclean. Sin would not be committed without the law.
But, in the new testament the Bible made it clear that the redemption through the blood of Jesus Christ has made everything new. The blood that was shed on the cross has made everything regarded as unclean to become clean. 'And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.' (Acts 10:15). Sanctification has taken place through redemption. Redemption covered every aspect of creation, everything are made new in Christ. 'Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, (Touch not; taste not; handle not; Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh. (Colossians 2:20-23).
Apostle Peter wanted to cling to the doctrine of men neglecting the infallible truth of redemption that has taken place at Calvary. In as much God was the one that spoke to him to kill and eat, the action cannot be wrong. Everything that God created was for our benefit and everything that we do must be to the glory of God. All things are lawful, but not all things are expedient. We shouldn't be brought under the power of anything. Thanksgiving is a way to acknowledge God, as the source of every good and perfect gift and the moment you do that the gift become sanctify and harmless in as much you receive it with Thanksgiving without doubt and fear in your heart.

Thank you Lord for wisdom and understanding received through your word. I give thanks for the food I eat and every good gifts in my life, in Jesus name. Amen! 🙏
