_“In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed._ (Daniel 7:13-14)
🔮 *The Second coming of the Son of man*
Daniel was a prophet in the old testament, yet he catched the glimpse and forsee the second coming of the Son of man. The Lord revealed a very important events, which will take place in the latter time even before the first coming of the Son of God into the world. There are very important points to note in this powerful revelation. It was a night vision and the servant of God saw someone before him like the son of man coming in the clouds of heaven. Daniel was taken to this realm to see into the future, great and mighty things about the authority, glory, and sovereign power given to the son of man to rule over all people and nations.
The son of man had before time of his physical appearance received a kingdom and dominion. He was born to be a King to rule, but His kingdom is not of this world. There's an appointed time set by God to established the new kingdom for His beloved Son. In the revelation the Son approached the Father i.e the ancient of days and was led into His presence. All that was needed to govern the kingdom was given to Him. He's coming back to rule over every tribes and nations. They shall worship Him. The goal of missions is to lead souls that are lost to come to worship the King of kings and the Lord of lord's. The one who died on the cross, that we may live and have eternal life.
His dominion is forever and ever. It shall not pass away like the earthly king and ruler whose dominion expires with time and age. His kingdom also is one that will never be destroyed. It's an everlasting kingdom. Everyone, are called into this glorious hope and inheritance in Christ Jesus. This present world shall fade away in the space of time, but there's a great hope ahead for those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and have received Him as there personal Lord and saviour. We should not live, as if there's no hope. Let's rejoice always in the Lord for the redemption of our body is near. Always be ready for the great transition at the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
