🏵️STAND FIRM🏵️
Once upon a time before coming to know the Lord Jesus Christ, there was an heavy yoke that we all carry about. Jesus found each and every believers in this helpless condition and bid us to come to Him, while He promised to give rest unto our souls. He sets you free from the yoke of bondage of sin, because we were as a slave to sin when passionately following the dictates of the flesh. It's in Christ that anyone can find freedom from the yoke of slavery to sin. Sin will always look appealing and attractive until you meet Christ and able to stand firm to resist the power of sin in your life.
Christ sets you free for the purpose of freedom and we shouldn't continue to live, as a slave of sin. You don't longer have the obligation to follow the dictates of the flesh. We are to stand firm in total submission to God and resist the devil steadfastly in the faith and he will flee away from us. Don't let yourself be burdened again by the yokes of slavery. This is a deliberate action of resisting the deeds and works of the flesh.
We can truly become free from every sinful habits, because it was for this purpose that Christ died for us, was buried and resurrected. There are people who the Lord has helped to overcome certain sinful addictions and He's able to help you too. Don't settle down in the mud of sin, be washed in the blood of the Lamb and hope for a new beginning. The Lord is able to keep you pure in the midst of all the pollution that is in the world. Stand firm in the truth, unwavering in your faith looking towards the salvation of the Lord.
