 _'For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”_ (Esther 4:14) 

🔮 *Discernment of Time*

I remember about a decade ago, this verse of the scripture challenged my heart into the call of missions during a missions conference. It was the very first day of the conference. The atmosphere was very spiritually tensed. I discerned that, I was in for something extraordinary. I needed to pay maximum attention to hear and understand that which the Lord is saying and yield myself up to do His will. There's specific timing for every plan and move of God. 

The words of Mordecai to Esther was very sharp and confrontational. Esther almost lost the sight on the purpose, why she was at the palace at that time. The mistake of queen Vashti was not a coincidence. It was a divine arrangement for Esther to come into that position for the salvation of the Jews in the future. Esther needed to rise to that position in the program of God to preserve the generation of the Jewish people. Mordecai had to open the understanding of Esther to this reality and truth, so she can wake up to fulfill the agenda of God for the deliverance of His people from the hand of their enemy, who have determined to eradicate all the family of the Jews. Esther seems to be relaxed at the comfort zone and might have thought she's safe and less to be concerned about the salvation of her brethren. The comfort zone is a dangerous zone, where focus on purpose can be lost. 

Mordecai made her to understand that, if she failed on her part to rise and rescue the Jews, salvation will come elsewhere for God's people, but she and the members of her family will perish. She needed to discern the time and season, that she came into the royal family. She was not in any way deserve to be the next queen because she was a slave, but she found favour and was chosen. 'Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king's chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her. So Esther was taken unto king Ahasuerus into his house royal in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign.  And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.(Esther  2:15-17)

The favour of God that you enjoy over time is for a purpose. Don't be silent at this time, that you are needed to rise up for the salvation and deliverance of others around you. You must be able to discern the time and season of your life and become fruitful to the glory of God. The investment of God upon your life over the years should not be a waste. The Lord is counting on you to become a channel through which other people can come to the knowledge of their saviour Jesus Christ. You are in that position, at such a time as this for a specific purpose. Use that position to influence people around you positively and draw them to Christ.

Thank you eternal Father for the great opportunity that abound in Christ Jesus our Lord. I receive the Spirit of discernment to know that which I should do at a particular time and season of my life in Jesus name. Amen!
