'Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. (James 1:2-4) 

🔮 *The Work of Perseverance* 

Peseverance is one of the fruit of the Spirit. It's expected to manifest in the life of a born again Christian. Every disciple needs to allow the work of perseverance to become mature in the faith. There are many challenges in the journey of faith. They are called the testing of faith, our faith is being tried and polished. 

This understanding will make us count it joy, whenever we are faced with many trials. Instead of being sad and feeling pitied, the joy of heaven fills your heart because you understand the spiritual process. The time of the trials of faith is such a time of spiritual growth unto maturity. You don't arrive at the point of maturity by accident without following the due process. 

The testing of our faith produces perseverance and we have to deliberately allow perseverance to finish it work. You need to be patience in your work with God. You can't jump or skip the process. It may look very tough now, but you're to fix your eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. You may feel like quiting but don't quit. There's light and hope at the end of the dark tunnel. The Lord who has started the good work in you is able to complete it. (Phil. 1:6).

I exalt your holy name Lord. I receive the abundant grace of God to persevere in the face of every adversity in Jesus name. Amen! 🙏
