 _'Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.”_ (Galatians 4:6) 

🔮 *The Spirit of sonship*

God's intention is to reconcile everyone back unto Himself, and make us to become sons. God receives us, as His beloved children, when we believe in His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Thererefore, because we are His sons, He sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts. This is the spiritual seal of our sonship. 

Our sonship is not just by a factual knowledge but by a supernatural conferment of the Holy Spirit upon believers in Christ Jesus, as a confirmation, proof and evidence of our sonship. The Spirit of sonship connects us with the Father and the channel through which we cry Abba Father. He's our Abba Father, because He begath us into this lively hope by the Holy Spirit. 

The Spirit of sonship guarantees our inheritance, as heirs and joint heirs with Christ. This should change our perspective about life and the way we think. We must be willing to identify with the suffering of Christ, that we may also likewise be glorified together with him.  'And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.' (Romans 8:17-18).

Thank you Abba Father, for the Spirit of your Son sent to our hearts for adoption. Let my eyes of understanding be open to see the way you see and know me, in Jesus name. Amen
