🔮 *Tarrying for the Promise*

Our generation lacks patience. we find it hard to wait upon the LORD. The value of a promise demands patience to take hold of it. If, it's a promise then waiting is inevitable. God is not a man that He should lie, He will not fail on His part to keep the promise but the fact is that are we willing to wait for the fulfillment of the promise. Patience is a spiritual virtue and platform on which faith stands. 

The Lord assured the disciples that He would send what His Father has promised but they would have to tarry in the city until they are clothed with power. The power would not come until the fulfillment of the promise of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the spiritual power house. 'You will receive power, when the Holy Ghost comes upon you.' The power is needed to accomplish anything significant in the kingdom. 

A life void of the Holy Spirit is void of power, that's why you have to tarry for the fulfillment of the promise. It is those who wait on the Lord that will renew their strength and mount up with wings as eagles. Though, the promise may take time patiently wait for it. Your prompt obedience is very key to fulfillment of God's purpose and plans for your life. Don't join the rat race, wait I say on the Lord.

Thank you Lord for your promises are yea and Amen in Christ Jesus. I receive the grace to wait on the Lord for the fulfillment of every promises for my life, in Jesus name. Amen
