 _'He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee:' (Luke 24:6)_ 

🔮 *He's not Here*

It's quite surprising that, the disciples who went to the tomb on the day of resurrection was expecting to see Jesus in the grave, when they visited the place. The apostles even didn't believe the report of the women, who first went there early in the morning. 'It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles. And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not.' (Luke 24:10-11).

They seemed to have forgotten how He told them, while He was with them in Galilee. The angel who appeared to the  women had to challenge them to remember the words of Jesus. They seemed feel disappointed not to see Jesus, because they had come with spices, which they had prepare for His body. The fact that they saw the stone rolled away and the tomb empty should have signaled that Christ is risen, just as He has said. 

The angel had to tell them that He is not here, but He is risen. Halleluyah! What a great news? Our Lord and Savior is the risen King. Death could not hold Him captive, He's the Lord even in the grave. He left the tomb, triumphing over death forever, those who believe in Him also receives eternal life.
