🔀 *Description of Love*
The perfect description of love is found in the word of God. This is a God-kind of love, which is not selfish and self centered. It is patient. It passes the test of time and never in haste to do contrary to the standard of God. Love is not blind, it sees inner beauty and perfection.
Love is kind. You can't claim to love without being kind. It's very generous and based on sacrifice. Kindness is an attribute of love, you cannot separate love from kindness. And being kind is unconditional. It's a steady flow of virtue, when it is convenient and when it is not.
It does not envy. An envious person is filled with hatred and not love. Love makes a person to esteem others better than himself or herself. Love does not compete rather makes good compliments. It does not boast and it is not proud. We need to deeply understand God's concept of love and walk in love.
