🔀 *Reward of Obedience* 🔀
A close study of the life of Abraham shows the level of his obedience to God’s instructions. He was devoted to a lifestyle of pleasing God. Putting God's interest above his own personal agendas and ambitions. He consistently followed the Lord God, who appeared to Him and the relationship grows to the point of becoming God's friend.
Abraham became the father of faith and the Lord established an everlasting covenant with him. He also gave him several promises, even beyond his lifetime. This was the way that the almighty God, whom he believed rewarded his obedience. God is committed to the fulfillment of every promises, which He has given to His servant, Abraham.
The Lord said to him, 'and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me.” The reward of his obedience was transgenerational and extended to all nations. The offspring here is referring to our Lord Jesus Christ, note (not offsprings). Many nations today are blessed, through the offspring of God's servant. We indirectly became partakers of the reward of his obedience. Halleluyah!!!
