 _'And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.'_ (Colossians 3:17) 

🔀 *Authority in the name of the Lord Jesus* 🔀

Divine Authority was conferred to the name of the Lord Jesus, as He triumph over sin and death through the cross. He has risen from the dead. He is the Lord of all and should take preeminence in all things. He has obtained a name which is above every other name. 

We bring everything to the obedience of christ by calling on that great name. The scripture emphasized in the above verse that, whatever we do whether in words or deeds, we should do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus. The name of the Lord is glorified whenever we call upon Him. 

There is authority and power in the name of the Lord Jesus to subdue principalities and powers, for at the mention of His name every knees shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. Don't take that authority for granted, believe in His name and it shall work great wonders in your life. Never let the devil take away that sweet name of Jesus from your lips. There's salvation, healing and deliverance in the great name of Jesus Christ the Son of the living God.

Heavenly Father, I'm thankful for your mercy upon my life. I believe in the authority and power in the name of my Lord Jesus. I command everything opposing the will and purpose of God in my life, to bow in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
