 _'Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.'_ (Galatians 5:24)

🔀 *The flesh is Crucified* 🔀

The nature of the flesh has been in control of man's life, before we come to know Christ. It does not submit to the laws of God and tries to dominate the affairs of our lives. But, the moment we declare to give our lives to Christ, we must allow the Lord to  take charge and full control of the centre of our will and emotions.

The flesh maximizes the opportunity given to operate and causes conflicts with the will of God in our Spirit. The scripture says it emphatically that, those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with the passion and desire. The flesh should not  longer have dominion over a child of God, as we live with this simple understanding, that Mr. flesh is already crucified long time ago.

It is until we deliberately live with  this conciousness, that we will be free from the bondage of the flesh. This is an enemy within, which must be thoroughly dealt with by the knowledge of the truth. If, the flesh was indeed crucified, then we can no longer live for it. The passion and desires for sinful lust was crucified with the flesh on the cross of Calvary. We have been made free from the grip of the flesh to serve the living God.

Father, I praise you because thou art great. I believe your word, and enforce your will always in my life, in Jesus name. Amen
