"I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us." (1 John 5:13-14) 

🔀 *Assurance of Eternal Life* 🔀

The above espitle was written to the believers that they may have an assurance of eternal life. The promise of eternal life is to whosoever believes in the Son of God. 'For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.' (John 3:16). 

We have access to the hope of eternal life, through faith. God meant His word and His promise is sure. Whosoever believe in the Lord Jesus Christ will not perish, but shall receive everlasting life. Faith gives assurance. It's the assurance of the things not yet seen. We walk by faith not by sight. 

In as much you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, you ought to have the assurance in God, that you have received eternal life. This builds our confidence in approaching God. And this confidence is that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. You only need to believe in the Lord to see His great wonders in your life. The assurance of eternal life drives away the fear of death.

Thank you eternal Father, for the great hope and assurance that we have in Christ Jesus our Lord, may your grace be sufficient to hold on to this assurance of faith, in Jesus name. Amen!
