"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." (James 1:27)
🔀 *Pure and Fautless Religion* 🔀
Fautless religion is in practice not in title. You can profess to be a Christian, but not acting like one. Christianity came into limelight, through the life style of certain believers in Antioch. It was in this gentile nation, that believers were first called Christian. 'And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. (Acts 11:26)
The people saw Christ likeness, through the attitude of the disciples and called them Christians, which today is globally recognized and associated with people who are followers of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are meant to reflect the image of Jesus, if we are true disciples. People should be able to see Christ in our conducts and conversations.
Apostle James broke down the religion that God accepts, as pure and fautless into three part. Caring for orphans, widows and being free from the pollution that is in the world. God is love and He wants us to truly love and care for the less privileged people. God's nature is holiness and He expects that, we should be holy, even as He is holy.
