_"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."_ (James 1:2-4)
🔀 *Consider it, Pure Joy* 🔀
It’s not always that easy, when you face trials of many kinds. It is seriously a difficult time and hardly will you see someone in that kind of situation putting up a smiling face. But, the scripture is admonishing us to consider it, pure joy when we are facing such kind of situations.
Instead, of self pity and hard feelings, put on a countenance of pure joy, because that is God's expectation for you in that situation. The trials are meant to make you, not to break you. They are necessary for our spiritual growth and maturity. The testing of our faith produces perseverance.
There's a fruit of the Spirit, which the Lord wants the testing of our faith to produce. And it is, when our faith is tested that the fruit can manifest. We must allow perseverance to finish its work, 'so that we may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.' The reason why we should consider it, pure joy is because the Lord is working out, something great inside of us for His glory through the process. Amen
PRAYER🙏
Thank you Lord, for the effectual workings of your power inside of us who believe. Help me Lord, to always consider the testing of my faith a pure joy, in Jesus name. Amen!
