 _"Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment." (1 Timothy 6:17)_ 

📍 *Do not Put Your Hope in Uncertainty*📍

The apostle Paul instructed Timothy to command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their trust in their wealth. The reason being that, it is so uncertain. One can be easily deceived by the possession of material things. It is not until you are broke, that you should hope in the Lord. 

Your wealth can't be trusted, because it has wings to fly, it can fail. It may not be able to save you, when it really matter. It's pleasant to be rich, having all that you need at your fingertips, but never reject God nor trust in the uncertainty nature of your wealth. 

Put your hope and trust in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. It simply means that, you allow your heart to be connected with God at all times for daily provision, even though you think you have what it takes to sustain you. One of the verses in the Lord's prayer says, 'Give us this day our daily bread.' (Matthew  6:11). Arrogance may not let some people ask for it. It is only in the Lord, that there is certainty and ultimate peace.

Almighty God, I thank you for being gracious and merciful. Please, help my heart to hope continually in you at all times in Jesus name. Amen!
