📍 *The Fulfillment of the Promise*📍

The Lord cannot lie. He is able to bring his promises to pass. He meant every word that He said unto the disciples. They were not to tarry for the promise in vain. The disciples were expecting the fulfillment of the promise, because they trusted the Lord to fulfill His words. They did not have doubt or waver to go about doing their own will, but waited for the fulfillment of the promise that they had received. 

The day appointed by the Lord eventually came to pass. It was the day of the celebration of Pentecost, it wasn't really a coincidence but have been in the divine program and agenda of God. The Jewish celebration of Pentecost was a shadow of the reality of the coming of the Holy Spirit. When the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. The expectation was so high, fully ready to receive the promise of the Holy Spirit. It was such an unforgettable experience. 

It happened suddenly. A sound from heaven came, as of a mighty rushing wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 'And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.' (Acts 2:3). It was a miracle like a dream. The presence of the Holy Spirit shook the whole place. They were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Also, believe in God's promises and see it come to pass in your life.

I worship you eternal Father, for your amazing grace. I pray for the fulfillment of all your wonderful promises in my life, in Jesus name. Amen!
