 _"What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us."( 1 Corinthians 2:12)_ 

📍 *It's not the Spirit from the World*📍

Believers must be conscious of this fact that, what we have received is not the Spirit of the world. The Spirit of God should change our thinking and perspective about life. This is the way to walk in the newness of life. The old things must be passed away, such as anger, malice, jealousy, hatred, backbiting, unfaithfulness etc. Choose to think and live differently from the way that the world does. 

The Holy Spirit that we have been talking about is the Spirit that comes from God. We cannot fully please the Lord, except we walk by the Spirit. The works of the flesh is irritating to God and does not in anyway gets the approval of God. The Lord wants us to see and walk differently by His Spirit. 

Do not feel odd, when you are walking by the Spirit. Joshua and Caleb chose to see differently, from what other spies saw, when they were sent to spy the land of Canan.  'But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.' (Numbers 14:24). It's not every yes that is right and it's not every no that is wrong.

Lord, I worship you because of whom you are. Help me Lord by Your Spirit to choose to be different from the world and make a difference in my generation in Jesus name. Amen!
