"And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.' (Revelation 5:9)

In revelation chapter five, the apostle John saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne, a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. 'And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. (Revelation  5:2-3).

John wept much, because there was no man found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. One of the elders before the throne had to tell him to weep not and told him to behold the lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David. 'He has prevailed to open the book and loose the seven seals thereof.' 

In verse nine, the four beast and twenty-four elders sang a new song to declare that the Lamb of God is worthy to take the scroll and open the seals thereof, because he was slain and has redeemed or purchased us by His blood out of every kindred and tongue, and people and nation. This will be the glorious song of the Saints on that glorious day; 'worthy is the Lamb of God, that was slain.'

I worship You, oh Lamb of God. Thank you for the sacrifice you offered to purchase me with your blood unto God. Thou art worthy forever to be praised and glorified. Amen!
