 _"For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant._ (Hebrews 9:15) 

📍 *Why Christ is the Mediator of the New Covenant?*📍

There's huge gap between the old covenant and the new. It is very obvious that, Christ's presence and sacrifice made the difference. He himself, became the mediator of the new covenant to ensure that every believer, who are called by God to draw near unto Him, may receive the promised eternal inheritance. 

It was for this reason that, He is the mediator of the new covenant to be surety or guarantor in securing the eternal inheritances for believers, who believes God's promises. He's the Alpha and OMega, the beginning and the ending, watching over every word of promises to bring them unto fulfillment. He is the true and faithful witness, that God cannot lie. 

He's busy constantly pleading with the Father, making intercession for the Saints. He has died and gave His life as ransom for the sins, which God's people have committed under the first covenant. The Lord was confident that, all work for the salvation of the souls of men was finished on the cross, whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.

I'm eternally grateful Lord, for the ransom you paid to redeem my soul. May every of your wonderful promises become fulfilled in my life, family, church and nations in Jesus name. Amen!
