📍 *The prophecy of Christ's Crucifixion*📍

The event of Christ's crucifixion wasn't hidden from the LORD. He knew right from time the purpose of His coming to the world. He was quite aware of the timing also, and was able to call the attention of His disciples, as the event was about to begin to unfold.
He gave the prophecy about His crucifixion, as they were about to go to Jerusalem. Though, it was not the first time of going to Jerusalem, but this time around He knew that, the time has come to fulfill the prophecy written about Him as the Messiah.
Everything He said about Himself was accurate, though the prophecy was not the kind that was easy to bear for the disciples. Peter had to protest against it, but the Lord Jesus Christ rebuke Satan to get behind Him. He did not see the word coming from Peter, but Satan. The prophecy centered on His trials, death and resurrection. The end of the prophecy was victory, He knew the end from the beginning and was able to embrace the cross and accomplished the will of the Father.

Thank you Lord for your faithfulness. I believe in your sacrifice on the cross for my salvation. I enforce your victory on the cross in my life, family, church and nations in Jesus name. Amen!
