It’s established that, the moment you received Christ, the new life in your Spirit becomes activated. It's as if, you are quickened from the dead and made alive unto God. The new life is not something you pick up and abandon on the long run. It's something you should always be conscious about and begin to shape your mind and thoughts according to the pattern of the newness of life received.
As a new born baby, you desire the sincere milk of the word of God that, you may grow thereby and continue to live your life in the Lord Jesus Christ. Your foundation in Christ should not be shallow, we are to be deeply rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith, as you are were taught the word of God, because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of the LORD.
We should have an assurance of the tangibility of the life that we have received in Christ, which should cause an overflowing thankfulness to God. This is the way to continually live our lives in Christ Jesus. Always be confident and courageous, knowing that because He lives, you can face tomorrow.

Thank you Lord for your amazing love and grace. Please, guide me daily with your word, that I may live my life continually in Christ Jesus, in His precious name I pray. Amen!
