The gospel is not human ideology, but the truth that the world must hear to be saved. The message is beyond the messenger, even if you ordinarily have no regard for the person before, but in as much He is carrying the message of the gospel across to you, it's better you take heed and give him the due regard on Christ behalf.
God has chosen men, as vessels unto honour to proclaim His word throughout the earth and save lives from eternal damnation. There's an extension of the ministry of Jesus through his disciples, since the day He left the world. The disciples are the royal ambassadors, speaking on Christ's behalf.
While Christ was with the disciples, He made it clear that 'He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.' Authority has been delegated to the disciples to preach the word and represent Christ, everywhere to the uttermost part of the earth. The Father is doing the work of reconciliation through the available vessels, who are willing to obey the Lord's commandment.

I give you praise most High God. Thank you for the privilege to be a royal ambassador. I pray that, I will be effective in this calling to win souls into the kingdom of God and depopulate hell, in Jesus name. Amen!
