 _"One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple." (Psalm 27:4)_

The psalmist had an understanding of dwelling in the presence of the Lord, which became his desire and pursuit. It's ignorance and deception at work, if we think and feel that dwelling in God's presence is bored. The presence of the Lord is the most peaceful and restful place to be, trying to find comfort and fun outside His presence is counterfeit. 

The peace that Jesus gives, is not as the world gives.  'Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.' (Psalms  119:165). You find true peace by embracing God's decrees. The sorrow of those who seek after other gods multiplies. The one thing to ask and seek is to have an intimacy with God. 

This should be the priority of every child of God, then every other things will follow. We will only be chasing shadows, if we have a misplaced of priorities. When you give adequate time to seek the face of God, the rest of your plans and agendas will fall in place. It's in the place of communion and fellowship with God, that we get perfect alignment and direction from the LORD to arrive safely at destiny. 

🙏PRAYER

I give you praise Almighty Father, for whom you are in my life. This one thing I ask and seek, even just like the psalmist. Grant me the grace to love to dwell more in your presence, in Jesus name. Amen!
