Come to think of the great mercy and forgiveness of God. The scripture says, even while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. The Lord Jesus Christ also said, 'But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.' (Matthew 9:13). The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving.
Even though, we were undeserving of God's mercy and forgiveness because of our rebellion. God lavished His mercy on us, by sending His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. He took upon himself the punishment that we deserved I.e death and gave us eternal life through faith in His name.
When you understand the depth of God's mercy and forgiveness, it will not be difficult for you to also always show mercy and be ready to forgive trespassers who cross their boundaries to step on your toes. The mercies of God covers all our debts and we receive pardon for our sins through the forgiveness that we received. The Lord does not remember, the sins which He has forgiven you. You become discharged from the guilty conscience of sins.

Blessed be your name oh Lord, I stand in awe of your mercy. Grant me the grace to be merciful, even you are in Jesus name. Amen!
