📍 *Mediating For Forgiveness*📍

In many occasions, Moses the servant of the LORD stood in the gap for the children of Israel, whom he was appointed to lead. He mediated for forgiveness, whenever he discovered they had sin against God. He knew that, the Lord does not tolerate sin amidst His people, it would break the link and connection that they have with God.
The mediation for the forgiveness of sins is what brings about reconciliation. Have not Moses the servant of the LORD, stood in the gap for God's people, they might have all perished long time ago. God was already willing to start a new generation through Moses, but God's servant insisted that the children of Israel should be spared, that the promise of God for them might be fulfilled.
We can mediate for forgiveness for sinners, through the ministry of intercession. You can reconcile hearts that have strayed away from God's presence by going on your knees. This is one of the ways to fulfill the ministry of reconciliation, which has been given to us, as a believer. (2 Cor. 5:18).

Thank you ancient of days for your goodness and mercies upon my life, family, church and nations. I pray for the grace to mediate for the forgiveness of sins for those who are drowning in sins, in Jesus name. Amen!
