♐ *The Glory Shall be a Defence*

_"And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence. (Isaiah 4:5)_

In the wilderness, the Lord guided the Israelites with the Pillar of cloud in the day and the pillar of fire in the night. The glory of God that accompanied them was a defence, in such a way that the enemy couldn't move an inch closer to them in the night. There would be darkness at night within the camp of the enemy, while the pillar of fire gave the Israelites light to be able to move forward in their journey, even in the night.
The word of God re-emphasized something similar in the book of the Prophet Isaiah concerning Mount Zion and her assemblies, which is speaking about the church in the new testament. Zion is a place where we come to worship God.
The prophecy is that the Lord will create a cloud and smoke by day and the shining flaming fire by night, upon every dwelling place of Zion and her assemblies. And the glory of the LORD shall be upon all that appear in Zion for a defence. When the glory rests upon you, it will be a defence against shame, reproaches and every wiles of the devil.

I give you thanks and praise Almighty God, my defender. Let your glory rest upon my life and family for a defence, in Jesus name. Amen!
