♐ *The Glory of the LORD shall be Your Rereward.*

_'Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy Rereward. (Isaiah 58:8)_

The Lord honours true and sincere spiritual sacrifice like fasting. There is great reward that follows, such sacrifice that is done according to God's expectation and standard. The book of Isaiah which is our main text gave an account of the kind of fast, which is acceptable and bring great result.
Fasting and Prayer is not just an exercise, it's a great way to humbly seek the face of God and experience divine visitation. The result of a true spiritual devotion and sacrifice is that your light will breakforth, as the morning. Your light cannot be hidden, the light will reflect in your countenance and it will shine forth wherever you find yourself. It will be difficult for you to be comfortable with the secret works of darkness.
It will also have impact on your health. Sickness cannot longer find a place of rest in your body, your health shall spring forth speedily. It will be credited to you, as righteousness and it shall go before you, which will make it difficult for the enemy to stand on your way to oppose you. Then, finally the glory of God shall be your rereward. You will inherit glory, as a reward from the LORD who see in the secret and reward openly.

I bless Your Holy name, faithful Father. I await the reward, which you have promised to those who diligently seek you, in Jesus name. Amen!
