It is knowing Christ, that gives us access to the Father. If, Christ is not risen our preaching is vain, so also is our faith. (1Cor. 13:13). The righteousness of God, which is by faith is revealed in Christ Jesus. Our faith is on the basis of what Christ has done. 

The resurrection of the LORD Jesus Christ from the dead produced faith and hope in God, who raised Him from the dead. It is through Christ, that we believe in God. Jesus, by His death and resurrection became the door-way I.e the gate of eternal life. 'He is the way, the truth and life, no one comes to the Father except by Him.' (John 14:6).

You can't claim to believe in God, without fully acknowledging the Son Jesus Christ. It is ignorance at work, when you claim to know God and seems to ignore the only begotten Son of God. It's the salvation procured, through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross that draws us close to God, who were once alienated from Him, because of the presence of sin. Faith in God through Jesus Christ gives us victory over sin and enable us to put our faith and hope in God.

I give you praise Almighty Father for the privilege to know You through Christ Jesus my Lord. Please, help my faith to be rooted in the finished work of Christ and be able to live a victorious Christian life daily, in Jesus name. Amen!
