♐ *Change of Glory.*

 _'They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image. Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass. They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt; Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea._ (Psalms 106:19-22)

The glory of a people or nation can be changed, if they forsake their God. The children of Israel made a calf in Horeb and worshipped the molten image, while Moses was on the mountain with God for forty days and night. They thought Moses was taking too long time to come back to them, therefore they tried to make a god for themselves to lead them further in the journey. They had forgotten the God, who had led them thus far from the land of Egypt, inspite of all the miracles and wonders that they had seen. 

'They changed their glory into silmitude of ox that eat grass.' This is a mystery, whenever a man rejects His creator, he will lose the real and authentic glory that he has been endowed by Him. 'Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit.' (Jeremiah  2:11). It's rare for certain religious people to change their gods, which are not even gods. The Lord said, His people have changed their glory for that which do not profit. 

Anyone, who forsake the living God will definitely serve and worship, that which is lesser than God and unprofitable. The Israelites forget God their saviour, which have done great and wondrous things in their journey and the adverse effect was that their glory was  mesmerized. 

🙏PRAYER 

Thank you glorious Father, for you alone art worthy to be praised. I pray that my glory will not be compromised, in Jesus name. Amen!
