♐ *Do Not Glory in Your Wisdom*

_'Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD. (Jeremiah 9:23-24)_

The LORD said it emphatically, that the wise should not glory in their wisdom. It's a prestige to be wise and honourable to be strong. Men boast and glory in their strength and wisdom. But, it's not wise to glory in such things that fades away.
Wisdom of men definitely expires in the space of time. It's time and age bound, it perishes with the individual after death. But, your knowledge of God does not expire, it continues till eternity. We shall continue to know the Father better.
We are to glory in understanding and knowing the LORD. It's quite alright to be learned in philosophy of life, but it has no eternal value compare to knowing the author of life. The wisdom and glory that does not fade away is embedded in knowing and walking in God's delight. 'I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.'
🙏PRAYER
Father, I worship You for whom you are. I repent from glory in my wisdom and might. I glory only in knowing You, as a Father and in Christ Jesus my Lord. Amen!
