 _"As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them, so will I look after my sheep. I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness. (Ezekiel 34:12)_

 *The Good Shepherd*

The good shepherd will look after his scattered flock, when he is with them. He will leave the ninety-nine, that are safe and go out to look for the one missing. The good shepherd cares for his sheep and will not want any to perish.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the good shepherd and he will look after we his sheep. 'Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.' (Psalms  100:3). He will make his sheep to lie down in green pasture and lead us beside the still waters. (Ps. 23:2)

The better we understand that the good shepherd cares for us, the more we will trust Him and enjoy his warmth lovingkindness. He will rescue his sheep from all the places, that they are scattered on a day of clouds and darkness. If, you hear His voice today, harden not your heart. He is out there looking out for you to return home to his loving arms.

Thank you Lord for being good and kind to me. I pray that, may your goodness extend towards every sheep that are still lost in the world, in Jesus name. Amen!
