*Self Control*

Self control is a spiritual virtue that a believer must possess. It's also one of the fruits of the Spirit. As a Christian, you should be able to have a control or rule over self not the flesh having a control or dominion over you.
This will enable you to manage your temperament properly and not go beyond the boundaries of your liberty, irrespective of the weight and gravity of the offense that may come our way.
The scripture established that 'Fools gives full vent to their rage.' We will not want to act as fools but as a wise man who brings calmness at the end of a matter. The wrath of a man does not reveal the righteousness of God. When you are feeling the heat to react, stay calm and relax. Self control allows evil to pass over and helps to overcome certain weaknesses.

Thank you Lord for the Spirit of self control, help me Lord to always listen to the voice of the Spirit to stay calm in my dealings with people and bring out a perfect resolution to promote peace, in Jesus name. Amen!
