 *You're a Chosen People*

It’s not by human choice or will that you draw near to God. It's simply because you are chosen by His will to be His own people. 'Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.' (John 1:13) 

The great love of God draws us near unto Him, we that were once not His people, but now by mercy become His people. He chose you in Christ, even from the foundation of the world to be His people. Your identity in Christ becomes clearer, as you grow up in the faith by the revelational knowledge of the word of God. 

He has prepared a priesthood office for every believer in Christ. The Bible emphazised that you are a royal priesthood and a holy nation. The royal priesthood depict the king and priestly authority. A kingdom of king and priest, merge as one in Christ Jesus. The scripture says further, that you are God's special possession. 

The consciousness of our identity in Christ should always renew our mind to see ourselves in the light of God's word, through which He sees us. You're special to God, because you're chosen by him. If, He had not love you, you can't be in His list of choice. He loves you the way you are and want to help you conform to the image and pattern He so desire for your life.

Thank you, eternal Father for your everlasting love. I believe with all my heart that you have chosen me for your good pleasure. Grant me the grace to maintain my identity in Christ throughout my lifetime, in Jesus name. Amen!
