*Reckoning the Flesh Crucified with It's Passions*

The pre-requisite for anyone who desire to come after the Lord is to deny Himself, take up his cross and follow the Lord. (Matt. 16:24). Every true disciple has his personal cross to bear, unto which He is crucified to the flesh and the world.
The flesh will not allow a man to go far with the Lord. It will always demand satisfaction and pleasures. The deliverance from the works of the flesh is to die to the old nature for the new life in Christ to fully manifest.
It’s important to note this from the above verse that those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. As long as you are for Christ, you must deliberately walk with this consciousness that the flesh with its passions and desires has been crucified. This is the way to live a victorious Christian life over sin and the works of the flesh.

Thank you Heavenly Father, for the grace that I have received through Christ Jesus my Lord. I believe your word, please help me to daily live and walk with the experience of the cross in Jesus name. Amen!
