 _"Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian. And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds. (Acts 26:28)._

 *Persuasive Encounter with the Word of God*

The King Agrippa couldn't hide his feelings, as he was hearing the word spoken by apostle Paul. He had the persuasive encounter at the point, when Paul asked him that did he believe the Prophets? Paul didn't even allow the king to speak yet, he was convinced that king Agrippa believed.

It was at that juncture, that king Aggripa said to Paul, 'Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.' The word of God was so appealing to the king, through God's servant Paul. He was intentional about the delivery of the word of God to this end, it was not only the king that was his target audience, he would to God that also all who heard him spoke that day, may become just as he was, except for the chain with which he was bound.

There's a point of persuasive encounter with the word of God. It's such an encounter that prompt someone to take a noble decision to believe the word of God, because of the persuasion. The word of God may not be appealing to you, until you are persuaded, that it is the truth that you need to set you free. An unbeliever can someday be persuaded, that Jesus Christ is truly the Son of the living God. Encounter takes place through the channel of revelation.

Blessed be Your name oh Lord, for the salvation you have brought to me through your word. I pray that, many also of my family members, friends and neighbors may have personal persuasive encounter with your word, which will in turn transform their entire lives, in Jesus name. Amen!
