 _"For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”_ (Esther 4:14)

 *Don't Remain Silent at this Time*

I remember some years ago, almost a decade now. This was the scripture in particular, that challenged me into what I am today in the area of my calling by the grace of God. It was at a missions conference, really felt uncomfortable when the word dropped into my heart. Then, I decided to do an Esther fast during the conference. The theme of the conference was 'Take the risk and take the nations.' 

 Mordecai challenged Esther in the above passage of the scriptures not to remain silent at this time. She shouldn't see the opportunity, which she had in the palace, as the time of comfort and pleasure. She needed to be reminded that, she was at that position for a purpose and that she should not think that she's the only hope of the Jews.

She was made to understand that, there is a replacement for her negligence to take responsibility for the deliverance of her fellow Jews. She shouldn't think that, her life and family are safe and secured. It was a strong and hard saying, which made Esther uncomfortable, she became convinced in her heart to do something. It awakened her Spirit.

This is a word for us today, as well. What are you doing about the salvation and deliverance of others? Praise God that you are saved and now live a well balanced life, but are you now so comfortable in the position that you have found yourself, that you do not even remember that your kinsmen are still battling for their lives? This is not a time to remain silent, speak up for the deliverance of your people and the nations.

Thank you Abba Father, for the great privilege to serve. I ask for the divine enablement to take responsibility for the deliverance of many lives around me, in Jesus name. Amen!
