 *There's No Greater Love than This*

Life is precious and it is always properly guarded and cherished. The highest degree of love was shown by the Lord Jesus Christ, by His death on the cross of Calvary. Jesus knew all things that should come upon Him and went forth to ask, those who came to seek His life. Whom seek ye? They answered and He responded to reveal Himself unto them.

They could not withstand the authority and power in the answer that He gave. They went backward, and fell to the ground. 'Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way:' (John 18:7-8).

The last phrase caught my attention. Jesus said, 'let these go their way.' This is absolutely love. He loved His disciples so dearly and demanded for their safety, for them to be untouched or unharmed. He willingly laid down His life for His friends. There's no greater love than this!' Do we also love Jesus in return to this extent? If, He has shown us this exemplary love, we can replicate it by being loyal and faithful to Him till the end.

Heavenly Father, I thank you so much for this great love. Help me to love you more and others around me, in Jesus name. Amen!
