*The Spirit of Glory Rests Upon You*

In many ways we try to avoid insults, as human beings. You won't like to be insulted, but when it comes to identifying with the gospel, you may suffer reproach for the name of Christ.
Blessed and happy are you, if you are reproached for Christ sake. The more you become dead to the flesh, the more Christ is glorified in you. Reproach for the name of Christ is an element of dying to the old nature, that the power, glory and life of Christ may rest upon you.
There's no shame for a child of God. Instead, for shame to follow the reproach you bear for the name of Christ, it is exchanged for glory. 'The Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.' On the part of the mockers Christ His evil spoken of, but on your part He is glorified and His glory also abides on you. Halleluyah!!!

Heavenly Father, I'm grateful for the great grace and glory that rests on me, as I stand with the proclaimation of the name of Christ Jesus my Lord. I ask for the grace to be firm in my confession of His name to my generation, in Jesus name. Amen!
