Hebrews 10:19 _"Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 10:20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;"_

*Confidence by the Blood of Jesus Christ*

In the Old testament, it's only the high priest that has access to the holies of holies in the tabernacle with fear and trembling; once in a year with the blood of bulls and goats (Heb. 10:4). There's a veil which divides the inner court from the outer court. The death of Jesus Christ on the cross, first dealt with the veil of the temple. The veil of the tabernacle in those days physically torn into two parts from the top to bottom, which also have spiritual significance.
The activities in the old testament is the shadow of the reality in the new testament. Now, there's an invisible spiritual temple (Mount Zion) beyond the four wall of the church building, which believers are expected to approach with confidence by the blood of Jesus Christ. The blood of the new covenant purifies our conscience from dead works and washes away our sins to have a right standing with God in the holiest place.
A new and living way has been consecrated for us through the veil, by the sacrifice of His flesh. Christ gave His body and shed His blood to consecrate and make us holy. Believers receives boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of the new covenant. The understanding of this, should improve our level of intimacy with God. We should draw near to God's presence with the confidence that, the Heavenly Father love and eager to see us dwell in His presence.
